As Wine & Spirits Manager at Safeway Stores, he works with wines in a retail setting where quality and price must make sense to shoppers. Earlier in his career, he worked in winery marketing and sales, served as president of a Santa Clara Valley wine association and helped establish a regional wine trail. He is WSET certified and has judged wine competitions for more than 20 years
