Born and raised in Alaska, Bruce Abbott brings 17 years of extensive experience in the wine and spirits industry. Starting his career as a bartender and bar manager, Bruce developed hands-on expertise in crafting specialty drinks and managing a brewery. His journey continued when he opened a boutique wine shop, where he honed his skills in selling wine and spirits to lodges across Alaska.

Currently, Bruce serves as President of Liquor Stores USA North Inc.. Before this role, he was the Category Manager for Spirits at Brown Jug, Alaska’s largest alcohol retailer. At Brown Jug, Bruce oversaw the selection of over 7,000 wines and spirits for 21 retail locations. His responsibilities included organizing public tastings, launching control-brand wine programs, and selecting whiskey barrels for the network.
