Susan R. Lin MW is a Master of Wine and Head of Wine Expertise at Belmont Wine Exchange, a boutique online fine wine retailer in the San Francisco Bay Area serving customers worldwide. Her work includes advising clients, curating wine collections and inspecting incoming wines for condition, provenance and authenticity. She is also President and Co-Founder of the Asian Wine Association of America.

Susan became a Master of Wine in 2021. A classical pianist with a Master of Fine Arts in Classical Piano Performance and Musicology, she combines her wine expertise with research into the relationship between music and sensory perception. Through her consultancy, she designs wine programs, music and wine experiences, and events. Her earlier career included program management at Google, working on Search and Maps quality.

As a USA Wine Ratings judge, Susan brings fine wine retail experience, rigorous tasting knowledge and a customer-focused approach to the panel. Her work helping clients select wines and build collections informs her assessment of quality, value and packaging, supporting the competition’s focus on wines that connect with consumers.
