Master of Wine

I was born in 1955 and educated at the Universities of Rochester, Cambridge, Cornell and Southern California. Physician, board certified in internal medicine, ophthalmology and quality assurance/utlization review. Interested in fermentations since studying and teaching microbiology & biochemistry. Began serious wine study upon moving from New York to California in 1988. Actively involved in Society of Wine Educators and has judged many wine shows and competitons. Currently (and seemingly forever) working on a Dr. Farrell's Green Tea, Red Wine and Dark Chocolate Diet book . Also President of Inventive Technologies, Inc. which introduced the BevWizard wine and spirits pourers to the US marketplace in 2006. Lives in Huntington Beach, California with his wife,DruAnn, and their children, Dugan and Delaney.
