Jared Sowinski is the Director of Beverage at Upward Projects Restaurant Group, overseeing beverage selections and programming for Postino WineCafe, Joyride Taco House, Windsor, and Federal Pizza. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, he brings more than 20 years of beverage-industry experience, with expertise spanning wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer.

A trained sommelier and award-winning mixologist, Jared previously served as Director of Beverage at The Phoenician and Canyon Suites resorts in Scottsdale. His career combines wine selection and beverage development with the practical demands of managing programs across multiple locations. He continues to broaden his knowledge through visits to wineries, distilleries, and breweries, alongside industry seminars and professional education.

Jared has served as a panel judge for competitions, tastings, and trade publications. As a USA Wine Ratings judge, he brings extensive purchasing and beverage-program experience to assessing quality, value, and packaging, with an understanding of consumer appeal and commercial performance.
