Charles Steadman is the Director of Food & Beverage Experience and Strategic Partnerships at Virgin Voyages. With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, he brings expertise in beverage strategy, supplier partnerships, and commercial operations. His work connects wine and beverage selection with the wider guest experience across the cruise line’s fleet.

Before joining Virgin Voyages, Charles spent more than a decade at The Breakers Palm Beach and operated his own restaurant, Jack’s Grumpy Grouper. He later served as Beverage Director at 1 Hotels, developing wine and cocktail programs across restaurants, bars, pool and beach operations, and in-room dining. Since joining Virgin Voyages in 2018, he has helped shape its onboard food and beverage experiences.

As a USA Wine Ratings judge, Charles brings a buyer’s perspective grounded in product quality, value, consumer appeal, and operational practicality. His experience evaluating suppliers and developing beverage programs gives him an understanding of how wines can deliver both an enjoyable drinking experience and commercial value.
