Travis is the wine manager and head buyer at Bear Creek Spirits and Wine, an independent specialty retail shop in the Dallas suburb of Colleyville, Texas. Travis holds the WSET 3 certification in wine and anticipates completing the level 4 diploma in the summer of 2023. He also holds WSET 2 certification in spirits and is currently enrolled in level 3 spirits. He has also passed the Court of Master Sommeliers introductory examination.

An attorney for 16 years, Travis began serving at a wine bar in the evenings in 2019, confirming his suspicion that wine was his true calling. In his spare time Travis judges wine competitions, teaches wine certification courses, and through his entity Bleu Aspect, conducts private wine tastings and writes on matters relating to wine and philosophy.
