Graduated from University of California at Davis in 1976 with BSc degree in Food Service Management. From 1976-1981 worked as a chef and manager with restaurants and institutional food services companies. Entered retail wine trade in 1981 and has worked as Wine Director for Draeger's Supermarkets, Chief Wine Merchant at wine.com, Wine Director at Copia: The American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts, and Vice President of Education at Constellation Brands. Currently a Partner and Vice President of Education for the Napa Valley Wine Academy. Teaches wine classes, is a member of Society of Wine Educators and judges wine competitions internationally. Peter enjoys riding his bike in the Napa Valley, especially up Mount Veeder and through the beautiful vineyards.
