After graduating from Washington D.C.’s, L’Academie de Cuisine, Emily has held nearly every position in restaurants working as a pastry chef, captain and manager before focusing her attention on wine. A voracious learner, Emily holds a variety of credentials including CMS Certified Sommelier, French Wine Scholar, Italian Wine Professional, Napa Valley Wine Expert, Spanish Wine Scholar and WSET 3 candidate. Her professional motto is to be ‘equally knowledgeable and approachable’. You can now find Emily in Sonoma County, California where she is Direct of Member Services for DaVero Farms and Winery and a Sommelier with Sommsation.
