9. Tomillar Chardonnay

The Tomillar is a chardonnay with straw-coloured yellow with greenish reflections and glycerine consistency. It has a very great aromatic complexity. In its Varietal aromas, ripe fruits stand out intensely such as peach, pineapple, exotic tropical fruits like mango and passion fruit, with notes of honey.  It has a very unctuous and meaty taste on the palate.

8. Stringer Cellars John Sebastino Vineyard (JSV) Chardonnay

The 2016 Stringer Cellars John Sebastiano Vineyard (JSV) benefits from strong Pacific Ocean winds and a marine fog layer that makes the Sta. Rita Hills region was so unique.  This Chardonnay comes from a steep hillside block of JSV that is shrouded in fog every morning until it is burned away by the midday sun. This combination of fog and sun is what allows the fruit to retain a strong acid backbone while ripening.  Flavours of citrus and lemon curd mix with hints of toasty oak to create a Chardonnay that is both rich in mouthfeel and light on its feet. It is aged in 100% French oak, 25% of which was new.  The wine remained in barrel for 12 months and tank aged for an additional 4 months.

7. Grevino Chardonnay

The Grevino Chardonnay shows scents of butterscotch, honeydew, melon and apple on the nose. It also has flavours of honeysuckle; granny smith apple and lemon are wrapped in a light oaky-vanilla blanket leaving a smooth yet crisp finish.

6. Grand Cru Vineyards Chardonnay

Grand Cru Vineyards Chardonnay wine is a light straw colour with pear, melon, and vanilla aromas; citrus and green apple flavours, with a silky mouthfeel.
