Von Stiehl Winery, the oldest licensed winery in Wisconsin, was just awarded six silver medals and one coveted gold medal in the annual USA Wine Ratings International Competition. This competition rates wines from all over the world from some of the most prestigious areas on a 100-point system based on Quality, Value, and Packaging. von Stiehl’s 2019 Soaring Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon brought home the 90-point Gold Medal.
Two wine cellars from Moldova - Fautor Winery and Purcari Winery – have won golden and silver medals at USA Wine Ratings.
Two wineries from the Republic of Moldova have achieved a gold medal and a silver medal respectively in the USA Wine Ratings competition, a professional wine contest. Fautor Winery and Purcari Winery stood out in the competition and managed to secure the first two positions.
Southeastern Grocers recently celebrated some high-praise for its private label wines. The parent company of Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket, and Winn-Dixie, announced that its private label and market exclusive wines took home several awards at the fourth annual USA Wine Ratings Competition.
USA Wine Ratings judge according to three categories: Quality, Value and finally Design and Packaging. To win a USA Wine Ratings award, a wine needs to score highly in all three categories of the judging criteria – so a consumer will know that when they purchase wine with a high USA Wine Rating, it tastes as good as it looks as good as it costs.
Lidl US, recently ranked a top 3 U.S. grocer by USA Today 10Best Readers\' Choice Awards, took home more than 60 medals from the 2021 USA Wine Ratings and USA Beer Ratings competitions.
