French wine is produced in quantities between 50 and 60 million hectoliters per year, or 7–8 billion bottles. France is the second-largest wine producer in the world. French wines trace its history to the 6th century BC, with many of France's regions dating their wine-making history to Roman times. France is the source of many grape varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot noir, Sauvignon blanc, Syrah. These grapes are now planted throughout the world. Moreover, their wine-making practices and styles of wine have been adopted in other wine-producing countries. Here is the list of top 10 French wines you must try.

It is a wonderful wine to pair with fish, poultry or on its own. The grapes were sourced exclusively from the Les Chemins de Favarelle single vineyard in the Aude River Valley in Southwest France.
