Since 1404, Vignamaggio has been an icon in Tuscany’s agricultural history. We are equally proud of this heritage and our contemporary take on Chianti Classico: an immense garden where land and man give their best to each other, where crops are diversified and we can live harmoniously and sustainably.
On our 400-hectare estate between Greve and Panzano, we currently cultivate 65 hectares of vineyards according to organic farming principles. It is from these vineyards that we produce great Chianti Classico wines, like our Gran Selezione Monna Lisa.
From the Renaissance villa to Il Borgo, through vegetable gardens, olive groves, vineyards and the woods and meadows where our Cinta Senese pigs roam, Vignamaggio is a microcosm of ancient polycultural Tuscan farming traditions. And this is what we want to revitalise with our landscaping, productivity and architectural redevelopment project.
It is our mission to literally make your day: to celebrate life’s small pleasures in harmony with the magnificent gifts of nature.
