David Glancy is the Chief Education Officer of San Francisco Wine School www.sanfranciscowineschool.com . The school offers educational programs on wine, beer and spirits for all levels of students and is the only authorized provider of French Wine Scholar (FWS) programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to launching San Francisco Wine School, Glancy was the Wine School Director for the Professional Culinary Institute (now French Culinary Institute of California). He created and ran the Certified Sommelier Program at PCI, the only school in the world approved by the Court of Master Sommeliers. Glancy is one of only 12 people in the world to pass both the Master Sommelier (MS) and Certified Wine Educator (CWE) exams. He is also on Editorial Advisory Board of Sommelier Journal.
