StarView Vineyards is family owned & operated by Brett & Regina Morrison and Ron & Susan Dalius. Brett has been in the wine industry for over 19 years and has been making wine for 12 years. Brett introduced Regina to the "wine lifestyle" and she has loved being involved in the tasting room operations. Regina & Brett are enjoying their life in southern Illinois, it reminds them of Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, which is where they moved from in the summer of 2013. Both are very involved in the Illinois wine industry. Brett serves as winery liaison for the Shawnee Hills Wine-Grape Association and has been named the 2015 and 2016 Viticulturist of the Year by the Illinois Grape Growers & Vintners Association. He also received the Ted Wichmann Award in 2016, honoring outstanding grape growers in the Shawnee Hills AVA. Regina is on the Executive Board for the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail and recently became Co-Director for the Southern Region of the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Association.

StarView Vineyards was founded in 2006 when a new tasting room was built. They became the 6th winery on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. The Wine Trail has grown in popularity and currently there are 11 member wineries.

StarView is one of the premier destination wineries in the region. They have entertained tens of thousands of guests, hosted weddings, parties and weekend music series. StarView are pet friendly, so bring your 4 legged family member along with you. They are excited to share their vineyard and wines with you and hope you come by to visit ‘em and become part of their story too!

StarView Vineyards is located in the Shawnee Hills American Viticulture Area. The Shawnee Hills AVA is a specific area of southern Illinois, designated by the Federal Government, as a grape growing region. The grapes grown in this wine region have unique and distinct wine making properties. Wines that have “Shawnee Hills” on the label must have 85% or more of their volume derived from grapes grown within the A.V.A.

StarView vineyards are continuing to expand and today they grow seven varieties of both Native American grapes and French American Hybrids. they have approximately 7.5 acres of vineyards. About 90% of the wine that they make here comes from grapes that they grow in their vineyards. StarView Vineyards take great pride in growing their own grapes and making their own wine. They are members of the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintner's Association.
